Gouldian finch photographic prints

Original photograph taken by Mike Fidler of a red-headed Gouldian male drinking at a small pool in the Kimberley (northern Australia). These prints are ‘Glicee’ fine art museum-quality, and professionally framed either in a gallery-style metal frame or an aristocratic wood frame.

Breeding Estrildid finches

This new volume, complied by Tony Jochem, is a complementary to his previous book (see below) and provides practical advice on breeding finches, ranging from design and construction of aviaries to providing optimal nutrition and preventing diseases. The paperback book (220 x 160 mm) of about 200 pages is well illustrated with 120 colour pictures and, where helpful, clarified by full-colour photos showing many details of the author’s own birdhouse. Estrildid finches in the picture

This comprehensive volume, complied by Tony Jochem, is now available to audiences all over the world. The large-size (300 x 220 mm), hard-cover volume numbers about 500 pages and is lavishly illustrated with some 500 colour pictures (mostly photographs) of the birds and their habitats. It contains detailed descriptions of virtually all estrildid finches, including rare species, forming the family Estrildidae: African, Asian and Australian estrildid finches, parrot finches, munias and mannikins, a total of over 140 species and 340 subspecies.
